Modern Yoni Art
The next several galleries feature a new and increasingly popular style of art called 'yoni art'.
This art has naturally arisen out of the reclaimed respect and honor that both women and men have found
in feminine sexuality. Yoni art ultimately derives from the idea that creation is born of the Womb of the Goddess.
It is this creative center and power that yoni artists seek to give expression to in their works.
Appreciation for the yoni's delicate, flower-like beauty only adds to its artistic appeal.
(See the sacred sex glossary for a fuller definition of 'yoni'.)
This gallery features the work of artist Christina Camphausen, wife of sacred sex scholar and author Rufus Camphausen.
You can view more samples of Christina's work, as well as other yoni art in Rufus's book The Yoni,
